Pregnant and Healthy
I started using the Diet Solution program while I was pregnant. I was still trying to loose weight from my first pregnancy. I thought because I’m only in my twenties that the weight would just melt off. I was looking through pictures of my little sister’s graduation and hated the way I looked and I didn’t like being the biggest mommy dropping off her kid at day care. My son was two and I looked like I was still pregnant. I was two weeks into the program when I found out I was pregnant with my second child. I love to eat and figured I had the rest of my life to loose the weight.
My favorite meal had to be sweet potatoes and salmon. I still got to eat my salt and vinegar chips, I just didn’t eat the whole bag at once. I was more than happy to have an excuse to cut out soy from my diet. I hate the taste of soy and was only eating it because I thought it was healthy and would help me loose weight. I started eating more veggies and quickly learned which ones didn’t agree with me and my baby. I was surprised, but I actually felt better this time around. I spent less time in the bathroom being sick. I could still work and come home to fix dinner and do the laundry. It was great. I didn’t gain as much weight either.
My daughter was born four weeks ago and my doctor said she was perfectly healthy. I’m still losing weight from both my pregnancies and only have a few more pounds to go before I hit my ideal weight. I can’t wait to put on my new bikini when I go to the beach this summer. I can already fit into my skinny jeans and can shop in the juniors department again.
